Dear Local Chapter President:

Gay Lesbian Association of the Deaf-East (GLAD-E) is happy to announce that we will have a Caucus Meeting at the International Deaf Leather 2008 (IDL2008) Contest Weekend at the William Way Community Center (WWCC) in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on July 17-19, 2008.

The Caucus Meeting will be on July 18th and 19th from 9:00 am to 12:00 Noon pm. We request that the affiliates of GLAD-E Chapter Delegate and Alternative Delegate attend the caucus meeting. If yes, please email me and let me know the name of person who will be the delegate and alterative delegate and their email address. We will discuss if anyone is interested in hosting the GLAD-E 2010 Conference which will happen during GLAD-E's 30th Anniversary. We need to review and approve the by-laws. If anyone is interested in becoming the next GLAD-E 2008 - 2010 Executive Board Officers, please attend our Caucus Meeting in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania this coming July for the Nominations and Elections. I want you to be aware that there is no GLAD-E 2008 Pageant, Banquet, Workshop, etc. However, we will have IDL 2008 Contest. For more information about IDL2008 and to register for the combo ticket.
